How the Day Runs

Entry lines and security screening open. Your ticket gets scanned in line and you’ll get your wristband right there — come early and the whole thing moves fast.

Texas State vs. Texas — the Bobcats’ Pac-12 debut, live from Austin. Kickoff 2:30 PM with concert-level audio on the biggest screens in town.

Tickets & Wristbands
How do tickets work?
Buy online and you’ll get a digital ticket — that’s all you need to show up with. Head to the entry gate, get your ticket scanned in line, and you’ll be handed your wristband right there. Put it on before you step through screening and keep it on all day.
Do I need to pick up a wristband ahead of time?
Nope — no advance pickup, no box office run. Wristbands are handed out in line at the gate when your ticket is scanned. Just bring your digital ticket and your ID.
Does the wristband do anything else?
It’s your entry pass for the day — keep it on and don’t take it off, since there’s no re-entry. For parking and the shuttle, your ticket is what gets you the freebie (you won’t have a wristband yet when you park).
How much are tickets?

What’s the refund policy?
All ticket sales are final — the event runs rain or shine. In the unlikely event of a full cancellation, refund information will come from Etix, the official ticketing provider.
What does VIP get me?
Four things worth every penny: an expedited entry lane, front-stage access, VIP bathrooms, and a VIP bar. VIP starts at $100 (VIP II $120) and quantities are limited. See tickets →

Getting There
Is there parking?
Free parking for ticket holders — show your ticket when you park (you’ll get your wristband later, in line at the gate). Beyond that, the usual downtown options are around too: public lots and street parking near the Square. More parking details TBA.
Is there a shuttle?
Yes — a free shuttle for ticket holders. Show your ticket to ride, heading in or heading out. Route & times announced soon.
What about rideshare?
Uber/Lyft drop-off & pickup zone announced soon.

Bags, ID & Entry
What ID do I need? Do I have to be 18?
Everyone needs a state or government-issued ID at entry. This is an 18+ event — guests under 18 get in only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Heads up: 18 gets you through the gate, but the bars are 21+.
What’s the bag policy?
No backpacks, large purses, or big bags — with these exceptions:
- Small clutch bags (5.5″×4.5″)
- Fanny packs / waist packs (5.5″×4.5″)
- One-gallon clear zip-top bag
- Clear drawstring bags or clear backpacks with one additional pocket
- Hydration packs / CamelBaks with one additional pocket — bladder must be empty at entry
What can I bring?
- A state or government-issued ID
- Your phone & a card
- A small clutch or fanny pack (5.5″×4.5″), a gallon clear zip-top, a clear bag, or an empty hydration pack
- Sunscreen
- An empty refillable water bottle — water stations are on site
- A poncho if the sky looks moody (big umbrellas can’t come in)
- Good energy
What can I not bring?
- A bad attitude (positive vibes only)
- Weapons or anything that could be used as one — including pocket knives & pepper spray
- Illegal or harmful substances, including drug paraphernalia
- Unsealed over-the-counter meds, vitamins, or supplements (see the medication question below)
- Outside food or beverages · coolers · glass containers
- Outside alcohol — bars are on site for guests 21+
- Laser pointers — immediate ejection
- Chairs of any kind
- Large umbrellas · selfie sticks
- Drones · professional cameras (detachable lens)
- Bikes, scooters, skateboards, one-wheelers & anything motorized
- Wagons, strollers & carts
Can I bring a lawn chair?
No chairs of any kind — lawn chairs, folding stools, camp chairs, all of it stays home. This one’s a be-on-your-feet situation.
What about medications?
Over-the-counter meds must be sealed & unopened — nothing already cracked open, and no vitamins or supplements. Prescriptions come in their original container with a label matching your ID, in the quantity you need for the day. Medically necessary equipment is welcome — flag it to security at screening.
Can I bring a totem or sign?
Yes — within the rules: 7 ft max, on a lightweight pole (PVC or similar — no wood, no metal), nothing attached that could cut or poke anyone, and keep the message friendly. Threatening or offensive signs don’t make it in.
Can I leave and come back?
No re-entry. Once you exit, you’re out for the day.
What’s security screening like?
Your safety is what lets everybody else relax and have a good time — and it starts the moment you reach the gates. Every guest passes through a brief screening run by trained, licensed security professionals whose whole job is moving you through quickly and getting you to the fun. To breeze through:
- Give yourself a little extra time during peak entry hours
- Have your digital ticket & ID out — your ticket gets scanned in line and that’s where you pick up your wristband
- Have your bag open & ready for a quick inspection
- Step through the metal detectors with phone, keys & other metal items in hand
- Look over the bag policy & prohibited items above before you head out — oversized bags and prohibited items get turned away at the gate
